Today i made 2 more buttons, one for the launch icon, and one for the summary page.

Today i added in the buttons that i made last week. No noise yet, but they do open up when you scroll over them, and shrink when you click on them.

sry i havent been posting too much, but pretty much iv been adding small details to my IR. This week i've been collecting audio and noises for future use. I also have been working on my buttons, which i drew them on paper, ripped them out, taped them on notebook paper, then ripped them out, just too take a picture of them balled up, and a picture of them open. When you scroll over them they will open and make a paper crunching noise.

today i just went through soundbooth's resource window, looking for interesting sounds that would fit my surroundings in my City. I found one for the jet and city/traffic, need a lil wind sound, can't seem to find.

today i added the plane and car, plus both their animation, the plane flys across the screen, and car drives into the distance.

today i finally perfected the transistion from day to night, the elements move when they need to, sun up when day, stars out when night, no delay. And to give effect that sun was going around the world, im just having it go out of frame then just appearing for the next day at the bottom again as it rises.

Today i was working on some concept sketches for an idea i had for my portfolio. I was working on drawing a plane and some of the cars i could use.

Today i fixed the times on the day to night, so that the stars didnt shine during the day, and the sun comes across the screen not just up and down. Also i started adding background art, i added a road behind the city going past some mountains.

Since last time Flash froze up and i lost my project i had to redo the stars and the night sky. Its still a lil off, when it loops once the stars start showing during day. I did add the billboards to the top of the city.

Today i finally got my night time to work, so when the sun fall below the horizon the screen gets darker. To add some more affects i even added stars that gleem at certain times, only 2 made so far, not exactly sure how many more im gona make.

A couple things i still need to finish before i am totally done with the portfolio part of my IR. I need to create a better waterfall and cliff. The plane that is supposed to fly across still is not even created, pluss all the background environment, like trees, roads, people, cars. The environment still is very fake, it feels very deserted. Besides those things, theres not too much in the portfolio part.

I started to animate my sky in the background as a NSA, and also the sun rises and sets. I did try to make it get dark when the sun sets by adding a dark purple box over the screen, and as the sun sets the opacity heavier.

Today i added more clouds, and a Flash sun, pluss a fence around the radio tower, Next im gona start animating.

Today i made a grass texture in photoshop, and then added it into flash. Next is to figure out how to add shadows.

today i made the cliff with texture in photoshop by mouse, not wacom. Also i created the one cloud in PS with a brush and a couple manipulations.

today i added the final modifications to the radio tower, created the gradiant of the background sky, and add the outline for what the cliff drop off will look like.

yo, today i got cracking, 2 background buildings done, the sidewalk and street/river is pretty much done, and i started on the shape of a radio tower.

today i added the 7th building and started on the road that will morph into a river waterfall.

Today i started finishing up on my drawing for my main menu, im adding color so i wont have to add it in with photoshop. Plus it will be a lot less time consuming and better quality.
